The Mau is a romantic fantasy. Vivian Adisa-Jameson is a stay-at-home mom married to Allan Jameson for 10 years. Allan is an independent contractor who travels from 6 to 10 months each year as a naval engineer.

They have two children: Afua, 6, and Azad, 8. One day, as they get off the school bus, the children find a large cat sleeping on their front porch. They try to chase it away, but it keeps coming back. When the cat jumps into Azad’s arms, they decide to take it in to show their mom. Everything is never as it seems.
